Third Party Indices is one of the key verticals within Financial Content Operations, Securities Data, which caters to clients engaged in indices research. The vertical is basically responsible for providing financial information to the clients on Indices across the globe. Financial information for the clients would basically mean presenting Indices as shown by the Third-Party Index Vendors and Exchanges to the clients.

Content Analyst role in the Third-Party Indices - Index Constituents Weightings team is a critical role which involves ensuring complete, timely and accurate update of the database on Third Party Indices Constituents and Weightings across different markets and exchanges. The CA is responsible for resolving client queries with the highest standards of quality of response in a timely manner. CA is also responsible for coaching analysts on data collection policies as per the highest standards to enable analysts to provide high-quality data in a timely manner.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities


Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using database and financial knowledge.
Ensure Team data accuracy, timeliness and completeness are maintained as per company standards
Developing expertise in database and financial knowledge through continuous learning and development. Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices/conventions in relevant markets.
Improve usage of available tools/support to best of advantage to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations
Adhere to multifaceted process/Mow changes, data operations standards and current data policies & procedures. Responsible for delivering Team’s high efficiency and quality data as per encouraged performance standards
Proactively identify, raise and resolve data problems.
Communicate & collaborate closely with internal and external departments for resolution of data queries as per the established process
Test new database/application releases where appropriate, providing expert user feedback.


Technical /Professional Skills


Should have a good understanding of Financial Markets and specifically Indices concepts
Should have 1 year of experience in the current role.
Should have awareness about the corporate actions and good understanding of databases like NDA. Knowledge of building Macro's is an added advantage.
Should be proficient in using MS-Excel
Should have good keyboard skills
They Should be a very quick learner and should display a high level of agility.
Should have good communication skills – written and verbal.
Should be able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and flexible to work extended hours depending upon business requirements
Should be flexible enough to work in different shifts at different points in time and this would include night shifts.


Certifications / Education
Any Bachelors or Masters’ degree of Commerce/Management with good Financial Markets knowledge.
