Job Description PostgreSQL DBA:

Extensive working experience (8+ Years) in Azure PostgreSQL database.
Provision PostgreSQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations.
Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
Day-to-day activities in PostgreSQL database management.
Provisioning read replica and configuration.
Participating in DR exercise.
Manage PostgreSQL databases and collaborate with customer.
Perform Architectural health checks and suggest optimizations through a detailed summary.
Flexible in managing PostgreSQL databases on Azure Cloud.
Update/create runbook, SOPs, knowledge base articles used by customer.
Upgrade PostgreSQL databases in Azure Cloud.
Configure database backup policy, snapshot backup, performing instance restoration and recovery if required.
Configuring and managing database monitoring.
Handling tickets, service request and changes.
Shell scripting knowledge.

• To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
• To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases
• To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
• To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
• To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management
• Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives.
