Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of test plans and test cases for software applications.Oversee the implementation of BDD frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.Provide expertise in AWS to manage and optimize cloud-based testing environments.Utilize Swagger for API documentation and testing to ensure seamless integration.Implement SQL queries to validate data integrity and accuracy in the database.Use Cucumber for behavior-driven development to enhance collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.Integrate Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to streamline the development process.Apply Scrum methodologies to manage and deliver projects efficiently.Develop and maintain Java-based test automation scripts to ensure robust testing.Test and validate Rest APIs to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.Use Jira for defect tracking and project management to ensure timely resolution of issues.Manage Maven dependencies to ensure consistent build processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Qualifications
Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.Have 4 to 8 years of experience in software quality engineering.Demonstrate expertise in BDD AWS Swagger SQL Cucumber Jenkins Scrum Java Rest API Jira and Maven.Show proven experience in the Energy Supply & Trading Oil and Gas domain.Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Display excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.Show commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.Possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality.
