Role Description

This is a full-time motivated, entrepreneurial on-site role for an Associate located in Gurugram. The Associate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, performing due diligence, assisting in structuring and executing investment transactions, and supporting portfolio management activities.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and analyze asset-based and corporate financial models
  • Stratify and compute historical loan performance based on loan tapes
  • Draft investment memos and do due diligence
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance and asset management
  • Conduct market, borrower, and macroeconomic research
  • Collaborate on live deal execution and pipeline management


Basic Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or quantitativefield, CFA or similar
  • 1-4 years of experience in asset-based finance acrossmortgage, consumer, corporate, or specialty finance
  • Knowledge of Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Residential and Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS/CMBS), or similar products
  • Strong financial analysis, financial modeling, valuation and due diligence skills
  • Experience in investment transactions and portfolio management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases


Preferred Qualification:

Prior buyside or sellside experience focused on Structured Finance, Private Asset-Based Finance, Specialty Finance, or other Securitized Products

Proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling using SQL, Python, and/or R

Familiarity with documentation used in securitized transactions including Loan Sale Agreements, Credit Agreements, Servicing Agreements, and Indentures a plus

Familiarity with interest rate products a plus

Familiarity with platforms such as Intex, Bloomberg a plus

Ideal candidates should be able to create institutional quality presentations materials for the Investment Committee or Investor Marketing books
