Responsibilities :

Own the architecture and design of scalable, fault tolerant and resilient service across the organization.

High on technical ownership and day-to day assessment of applications tech metrics

Visualize and establish the long term architectural approach, focusing on platforms and reusable components

Establish practices and processes to ensure that deliverables are of high quality, reliable, and extensible. Mentor the engineering team to follow the established processes and practices.

Drive the architecture and design governance for components, systems, and products under scope, as well as code and design reviews.

Develop a plan for teams to follow in order to adopt new technology stacks to solve business problems. Focus on reusability and ease of integration within the existing tech ecosystem.

Regularly participate in hiring events & interviews to select the best engineering talent for Pharmeasy.

What are we looking for?

BTech, MTech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent). Or high technical acumen and rich technical experience.

7 to 12 years of industry experience in software engineering

Proven track record of architecting and delivering in a startup/e-commerce ecosystem in a high-growth environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong decision making skills, technical and operational metrics driven decision making

The ability to lead problem-solving, critique tech solutions and build elegant, maintainable solutions to complex problems.

Expert level experience in building a scalable, large, and complex business application using some of the above technologies.

Track record of building and delivering mission-critical, 24x7 production software systems

Prior experience of building distributed systems on public cloud would be a plus

Prior experience in working with Agile software methodologies ( Scrum, Kanban), TDD, and Continuous Integration(CI/CD) a plus
