What You’ll Be Doing:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Participate in technical and US healthcare domain training sessions as needed, based on existing skillsets.
- Deliver standardized reporting suites to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring thorough quality checks under senior guidance.
- Support ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests, including:
- Creating new reports and dashboards
- Automating and optimizing existing reports or processes
- Collaborating with senior team members for execution
- Communicate insights, challenges, or anomalies encountered during report delivery, and document them using standardized templates.
- Continuously build domain expertise in US healthcare.
- Actively engage in regular stand-up calls with onshore and offshore leads, and participate in client discussions as required.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams on analytical, optimization, and implementation projects.
- Utilize JIRA for ticket management:
- Update ticket statuses and labels regularly
- Provide timely comments to gather requirements or report issues
Essential Functions
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Actuarial Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics) or healthcare-related discipline (e.g., Health Administration, Epidemiology, Public Health, Biology).
- 1–3 years of professional experience, including recent exposure to SAS, SQL, or relevant graduate-level coursework.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Microsoft Access (advanced), and preferably SAS or other programming languages.
- Prior experience working with healthcare claims data or supporting health plan back-office functions is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines independently.
- Adaptability to explore new approaches and work effectively in ambiguous situations.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work across diverse teams and personalities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for client understanding.
Mandatory Skills
- Base SAS coding using Enterprise Guide (EG)
- SQL proficiency
- Strong computer skills, including:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- VBA, SharePoint
- Ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA)
- Critical thinking and effective communication
- Team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to work in US overlapping hours

Mandatory Requirements:
Employees must have a high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps and the ability to set up a wired connection to their home network to ensure effective remote work. These requirements may be updated as needed by the business.
