Position: Associate Advocate

Experience: 5 to 7 Years

Location: Chennai

Employment Type: Full-time

We are hiring a skilled and dynamic Advocate with 5 7 years of litigation experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure in handling Civil, Criminal, DRT, and Consumer cases, along with the ability to draft, appear, and argue before various courts and tribunals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients before Civil Courts, Criminal Courts, DRT, Consumer Forums, and other judicial/quasi-judicial bodies.
• Handle end-to-end litigation matters including case preparation, drafting, filing, and arguments.
• Draft pleadings, petitions, complaints, affidavits, rejoinders, written statements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and case strategies.
• Liaise with clients, provide updates on case progress, and advise on legal options.
• Ensure timely filing, compliance, and case management.
• Work closely with senior advocates, colleagues, and clients for effective case resolution.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university.
• Enrolled with the Bar Council and licensed to practice law.
• 5 7 years of proven litigation experience in Civil, Criminal, DRT, and Consumer matters .
• Strong drafting, legal research, and advocacy skills.
• Good communication, client-handling, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
