Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco Firewall and will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure. This role involves working closely with various teams to implement and manage security measures ensuring the protection of our data and systems.
Responsibilities
Implement and manage security measures to protect network infrastructure.Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security protocols are followed.Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.Provide technical support and guidance on security-related issues.Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends and threats.Configure and manage Cisco Firewalls to ensure optimal performance and security.Conduct security training and awareness programs for staff.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Perform regular audits of security systems and processes.Prepare detailed reports on security status and incidents.
Qualifications
Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.Have 5 to 8 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on Cisco Firewall.Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Show proficiency in network security protocols and tools.Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Hold relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CCNP Security.Display a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
