Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Rest API Karate Playwright Selenium and Java. The role involves ensuring the highest quality standards in our software products. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for various software applications.Oversee the automation of test scripts using tools like Selenium Karate and Playwright to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.Provide expertise in testing Rest APIs to ensure robust and reliable integration between different software components.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the testing and deployment processes.Develop and maintain detailed documentation of test cases test results and testing procedures to ensure transparency and traceability.Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement in the testing process.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality engineers to help them develop their skills and knowledge.Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and any issues that may arise.Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in software testing tools and techniques to ensure the team is using the most effective methods.
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in Rest API Karate Playwright Selenium and Java.Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality engineering.Demonstrate experience in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.Show proficiency in automating test scripts using various testing tools.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Have experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration practices.Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience in Program Management is a nice to have.Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing.Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Strong documentation skills to ensure transparency and traceability in the testing process.
