Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of test strategies for retail banking applications.Oversee the development and execution of automated test scripts using BDD and Cucumber.Provide expertise in Java to develop and maintain test automation frameworks.Utilize Jira for defect tracking test management and project coordination.Implement and manage Selenium-based test automation for web applications.Ensure continuous integration and delivery using Maven for build management.Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test plans.Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure software stability and performance.Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.Identify document and track defects to resolution.Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in test automation.Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test automation code quality.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance testing processes.
Qualifications
Possess a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 7 years of experience in quality engineering.Demonstrate strong proficiency in BDD and Cucumber for behavior-driven development.Exhibit expertise in Java programming for test automation.Show extensive experience with Jira for project and defect management.Have hands-on experience with Selenium for web application testing.Be proficient in using Maven for build and dependency management.Have domain knowledge in retail banking to understand and test banking applications effectively.Display excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.Be adaptable to a hybrid work model with a focus on day shifts.Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
Certifications Required
ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer or equivalent.
