Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in BDD Cucumber Java and Selenium. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects while contributing to the companys mission of delivering high-quality software solutions. The position does not require travel and operates during day shifts.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases using BDD methodologies.
  • Utilize Cucumber to automate acceptance tests and ensure software quality.
  • Implement and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.
  • Provide detailed reports on test results and work closely with developers to address issues.
  • Ensure that all software meets the companys quality standards before release.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
  • Lead efforts to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office work as needed.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the project by ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in BDD Cucumber Java and Selenium.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Show proficiency in automating tests using Cucumber and Selenium.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in Program Management is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Have a strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
  • Be committed to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Show a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Be able to mentor and guide junior team members.
