Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Auto IT Java and Selenium with a preference for those experienced in Advent Geneva. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work with no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and performance.Utilize Auto IT Java and Selenium to automate test processes and enhance testing efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.Identify document and track software defects and inconsistencies ensuring timely resolution.Conduct thorough regression testing to verify that software changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.Provide detailed and accurate test reports highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and maintainability.Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues ensuring seamless integration and functionality.Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies and tools to stay current with industry best practices.Mentor and guide junior team members sharing knowledge and expertise to foster a collaborative environment.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards maintaining the highest level of quality assurance.Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts ensuring comprehensive test coverage.Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with the latest advancements in quality engineering.
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in Auto IT Java and Selenium with hands-on experience in these technologies.Demonstrate a solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.Show proficiency in creating and executing test plans test cases and test scripts.Have experience with defect tracking tools and test management software.Display effective communication and collaboration skills working well within a team environment.Experience in Advent Geneva is a plus providing valuable domain knowledge.Adapt to a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office work effectively.Maintain a proactive and detail-oriented approach to quality assurance.Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends.Ability to mentor and guide junior team members fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
