Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 7 to 9 years of experience in AS400 Operations and iSeries/AS400 Administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our AS400 systems ensuring smooth operations and providing expert guidance to the team. This hybrid role requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of AS400 systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Provide expert guidance and support for iSeries/AS400 Administration tasks.Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to AS400 systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all AS400 operations.Develop and maintain documentation for AS400 systems and procedures.Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements to enhance efficiency.Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.Train and mentor team members on AS400 operations and best practices.Coordinate with vendors and external partners for system maintenance and support.Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.Provide technical expertise in the development of new projects and initiatives involving AS400 systems.Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AS400 technology to ensure the company remains competitive.
Qualifications
