Role: Associate Manager Lab Centralized Monitoring

Location: Kochi (Work from office, 5 days a week)

Overview

Seeking a strong clinical professional with leadership experience to manage centralized monitoring activities for moderate to complex protocols. The role requires prior line management experience and the ability to lead a mid-sized team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Centralized Monitoring Project Coordinators (CPCs).
• Oversee workload planning, task assignment, mentoring, performance reviews, and staff development.
• Handle employee relations, training, onboarding, and HR-related actions.
• Build strong collaboration with global project and operational teams to ensure quality and delivery.
• Ensure staff have required training, tools, and access; monitor quality through mini-audits.
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
• Track departmental and individual metrics; support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assign resources based on skill and experience, ensuring optimal study support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Line Manager.
• 5+ years Clinical background (mandatory).
• Experience managing a team of 3040 members.
• People management experience in Hospital/Lab settings preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, therapeutic areas, and protocol basics.
• Strong organizational, problemsolving, and timemanagement skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to build effective working relationships.
