Job Responsibilities:
A GTD assistant manager articulates a program's strategy and objectives and assesses how it will impact a business. He or she must define and oversee a list of dependent projects needed to reach the program's overall goals. Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization of the Global Technical Data team.
- Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
- Creating and managing long-term goals.
- Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
- Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
- Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
- Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance.
- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
- Analyzing program risks.
- Working on strategy with Chief engineers, Module owners, Senior management team
- Should work closely with global stake holders and ensure successful project deployment
- Track team progress and Create KPI’s for each project and monitor the progress of the team
Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or business or related field.
- 7- 10 years’ experience in design and development preferably elevator industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CREO, Windchill PLM, preferably with knowledge on pro programing and master assembly management
- Good understanding on the phases of design and development
- Prior roles Strong organizational, communication and teaming skills involving project management and interaction with global teams & senior management
- Experience with Microsoft excel for performing data analysis
- Expertise in program planning, Proven track record of managing global projects
- Proven experience in program management.
- Proven stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience managing a team.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
