Assistant Vice President - Product Development

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Support product ideation, conceptualization, and design for health product.
• Assist in preparation and submission of regulatory filings, documentation, and responses to regulatory queries.
• Conduct product benchmarking and identify opportunities based on evolving market trends and competitor analysis.
• Design and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, operations, and training teams to ensure smooth roll-outs.
• Track product performance metrics to ensure profitability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Recommend and implement product enhancements or corrective actions to maintain competitiveness and relevance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new propositions and solutions based on customer needs and channel feedback.
• Support regulatory and internal audits related to product filings and ensure adherence to process and compliance standards.
• Ensure compliance with IRDAI and other applicable regulatory requirements throughout the product's life cycle.

                                                       Key Requirements – Education & Certificates

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Business Administration, Commerce, Insurance, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in health product development and management within the insurance sector.

• Strong understanding of health, demonstrated experience in launching and scaling insurance products in competitive markets.
• Strategic thinking and market orientation.
• Analytical mindset with ability to assess product performance and design corrective measures.
• Proven expertise in handling regulatory filings and managing IRDAI interactions.
