Assistant Vice President - Actuary

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Drive the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term objectives and translate them into actionable plans.
• Establish and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) framework for the Actuary Department.
• Oversee project governance, resource allocation, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Work closely with actuarial teams to ensure strategic projects align with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
• Support pricing, reserving, and risk management strategies through data-driven insights.
• Engage with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Risk, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of strategic projects.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management and board committees.
• Define KPIs for strategic initiatives and monitor progress against targets.
• Implement continuous improvement processes for project delivery and strategic outcomes.

Key Requirements – Education & Certificates

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or equivalent.

Key Requirements – Experience & Skills

• Minimum 6-12 years of experience in insurance, actuarial, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of actuarial principles, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
