Job Description
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize data architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
Lead end-to-end implementation of data solutions, from requirements gathering to deployment.
Architect and manage scalable data infrastructure using platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and Azure Fabric.
Develop and implement a metadata management framework, including data ingestion processes.
Ensure data privacy and security compliance across all data platforms and solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data workflows and infrastructure.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data engineering team.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in data architecture, engineering technologies, and industry best practices.
Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, quality, and accessibility.
Develop and maintain data models and documentation for metadata, data dictionaries, and data lineage.
Work closely with stakeholders to define data strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
Implement and oversee ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data systems to ensure efficient data processing.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the data architecture.
Lead the design and implementation of data security measures, including encryption, access controls, and monitoring.
Facilitate the integration of data from various sources, ensuring consistency and reliability.
Drive initiatives to improve data quality, accuracy, and reliability through data profiling, cleansing, and validation processes.
Develop and enforce standards and best practices for data management and architecture.
Coordinate with IT and security teams to implement robust data protection mechanisms.
Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
