JOB SUMMARY

  • Job Scope: Responsible for driving revenue growth from high-potential and strategic accounts within the assigned territory. This role manages the entire field sales cycle, from proactive lead generation and complex needs analysis to closing deals through consultative, face-to-face interaction.
  • Key Purpose: To act as the company's "Field Hunter," responsible for building a pipeline of and converting high-value, complex, or strategic accounts that require an in-person, relationship-driven sales approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Prospecting & Lead Generation (FIELD FOCUSED):
  • Proactively research, identify, and build a continuous pipeline of high-potential prospects (as defined by SM criteria) within the assigned territory, using a mix of field visits, strategic outreach, and industry networking.
  1. New Customer Acquisition (CONSULTATIVE):
  • Execute the full, complex sales process for identified prospects. Conduct deep needs analysis, present tailored, high-value solutions, and lead in-person negotiations to close deals.
  1. Lead Self-Qualification:
  • Proactively qualify all prospects against the "Qualified Lead" criteria to ensure all sales efforts are focused on high-value opportunities.
  • Handoff (NEW): Identify and hand-off "High-Velocity" or smaller-potential accounts (that do not require field visits) to the Sales - Indoor team.
  1. Portfolio Management:
  • Manage and maintain relationships with the assigned portfolio of existing general customers to ensure retention and identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities
  1. Achieve Targets:
  • Responsible for achieving assigned sales targets, including new high-potential leads generated, new business revenue, and growth from the existing portfolio.
  1. Customer Satisfaction:
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction within the portfolio through excellent service and responsiveness.


QUALIFICATION

  • Work Experience:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales role within the shipping or logistics industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
