Job Description Assistant Manager Sales (NVOCC & Liner)

Role Objective
Drive sales growth, develop new customers, and manage key accounts for NVOCC and Liner services across assigned trade lanes.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business from exporters, importers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
- Promote NVOCC (FCL/LCL) and liner service offerings to achieve volume and revenue targets.
- Manage key accounts and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate freight rates, and close commercial deals.
- Coordinate with operations and documentation teams for smooth cargo execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify new opportunities.
- Submit sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance MIS.
Requirements
- Graduate (MBA preferred Marketing / Logistics / International Business).
- 58 years of shipping industry sales experience with NVOCC / Liner exposure (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of freight pricing, trade lanes, and shipping processes.
- Good negotiation, communication, and customer management skills.
- Target-driven with ability to develop and retain clients.
