Job Description Assistant Manager Sales (NVOCC & Liner)

Role Objective

Drive sales growth, develop new customers, and manage key accounts for NVOCC and Liner services across assigned trade lanes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business from exporters, importers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
  • Promote NVOCC (FCL/LCL) and liner service offerings to achieve volume and revenue targets.
  • Manage key accounts and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate freight rates, and close commercial deals.
  • Coordinate with operations and documentation teams for smooth cargo execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify new opportunities.
  • Submit sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance MIS.

Requirements

  • Graduate (MBA preferred Marketing / Logistics / International Business).
  • 58 years of shipping industry sales experience with NVOCC / Liner exposure (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of freight pricing, trade lanes, and shipping processes.
  • Good negotiation, communication, and customer management skills.
  • Target-driven with ability to develop and retain clients.
