Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


Lead and manage QC team activities to ensure compliance with company and regulatory quality standards.

Develop, implement, and monitor QC policies, procedures, and documentation systems.

Conduct inspections, testing, and verification of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.

Identify deviations, non-conformities, and recommend corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, R&D, QA, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues.

Maintain and review QC records, test reports, and ensure traceability.

Train and mentor junior QC staff to improve technical skills and compliance awareness.

Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, HACCP, or other relevant quality standards.

Use statistical tools and quality metrics to analyse trends and improve product reliability.

Support internal and external audits (regulatory bodies, customer audits, certifications).

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance and reduce defects.


Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of QC methodologies, tools, and industry standards.

Proficiency in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and CAPA management.

Hands-on experience with inspection instruments, lab equipment, and testing techniques.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements (ISO 9001, etc. depending on industry).

Data analysis and report preparation (Excel, Power point, Looker studio etc, or other statistical software).

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
