QC APM - Batching Plant (APM Level)

Experience Required: 8-10 years | Level: Assistant Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Operations Management

• • Oversee daily batching plant operations and production schedules

  • Ensure accurate batching of concrete ingredients

  • Monitor plant equipment performance and maintenance

  • Coordinate with production teams for quality delivery

• Quality Control & Testing

• • Implement comprehensive concrete testing programs

  • Monitor fresh and hardened concrete properties

  • Conduct slump, air content, and temperature tests

  • Manage cube testing and strength monitoring programs

• Material Management

• • Oversee aggregate, cement, and admixture quality control

  • Coordinate material testing and supplier audits

  • Ensure proper storage and handling of materials

  • Monitor material consumption and optimization

• Process Optimization

• • Optimize mix designs for performance and cost efficiency

  • Implement statistical process control methods

  • Monitor and improve batching accuracy and consistency

  • Reduce waste and improve productivity

• Documentation & Compliance

• • Maintain detailed production and quality records

  • Prepare daily/weekly quality reports

  • Ensure compliance with IS 4926 and other standards

  • Coordinate with external testing agencies

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

• 8-10 years in concrete technology and batching plant operations

• Strong knowledge of concrete mix design and testing

• Experience with automated batching systems
