Role Summary

The Assistant Professor Programming will play a key academic role in delivering industry-aligned education through structured classroom engagement, experiential learning methodologies, and outcome-driven assessment. The role demands active contribution to curriculum enrichment, student mentoring, applied research, and academic governance, ensuring high standards of teachinglearning effectiveness in a dynamic institutional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular academic sessions in Programming (Python / C / Java) and allied subjects, ensuring teachinglearning efficiency and achievement of defined learning outcomes.
• Design and deliver experiential learning through labs, coding assignments, projects, and application-based problem solving.
• Mentor students on academics, projects, internships, and technical readiness, ensuring high satisfaction levels and positive student feedback.
• Promote project-based learning, hackathons, competitions, and applied research exposure.
• Contribute to curriculum development, academic planning, assessment design, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in academic research, paper publications, FDPs, seminars, and institutional development activities.
• Support institutional KPIs aligned with academic quality, student success, and stakeholder engagement.

Essential Qualifications

• M.Tech / MCA with minimum 55% marks.
• NET / Ph.D. desirable.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in affiliated colleges / higher education institutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong programming expertise with practical teaching orientation.
• Research publications and project mentoring experience preferred.
