Assistant Professor of Electronics and communication Engineering

Position Summary

The Assistant Professor in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting research, guiding student projects, and contributing to academic and administrative activities of the department.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Academic Activities

• Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Handle subjects such as:
• Analog & Digital Electronics
• Communication Systems
• Signal Processing
• Microprocessors & Microcontrollers
• VLSI Design
• Embedded Systems
• Wireless Communication
• Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, laboratory manuals, and course files.
• Conduct laboratory sessions, tutorials, and seminars.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, internal tests, and examinations.

2. Research & Development

• Conduct research in emerging areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Apply for research grants, funded projects, and consultancy projects.
• Contribute to innovation, patents, and product development.

3. Student Guidance & Mentoring

• Guide undergraduate and postgraduate student projects.
• Mentor students in technical competitions, hackathons, and innovation activities.
• Support internships, industry training, and placements.

4. Departmental & Institutional Activities

• Participate in curriculum development and syllabus revision.
• Contribute to accreditation processes such as NBA, NAAC, and NIRF.
• Organize workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs).
• Participate in department meetings, committees, and academic administration.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering (preferred)
• OR
• M.E./M.Tech in ECE or related specialization with strong academic record (as per AICTE/UGC norms).

Experience

• 05 years of teaching, research, or industry experience.
