Assistant Professor of Computer Science

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and academic excellence and possess the ability to inspire and mentor students in diverse areas of Computer Science and Engineering. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction, contributing to curriculum development, and collaborating on departmental initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and industry-academia partnerships.

Area of Expertise

AI, ML, Deep Learning & Data Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate/postgraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Engineering
• Design and deliver theory and hands-on lab sessions
• Guide students in mini-projects, CAPSTONE projects, and live projects.
• Use tools/frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hadoop/Spark
• Develop course material, lesson plans, and assessment tools
• Encourage industry-aligned learning and emerging AI trends
• Participate in academic administration and curriculum development.

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized university (candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also apply).
• First Class or equivalent at Masters and Bachelors levels (MTech / BTech) in Computer Science and Engineering
• A strong research profile demonstrated through publications in SCI or Scopus-indexed (non-paid) journals will be a significant plus.
• Foreign degrees, if any, must be recognized or equivalenced by the competent authority as per UGC/AIU guidelines.

Experience Required:

• 4 to 8 years of teaching experience in academia.
