Role Summary

The Assistant Professor Computer Applications will deliver integrated and application-oriented computing education focused on practical implementation, system design, and academic rigor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular academic sessions in Computer Applications and allied subjects (DBMS, Software Tools, System Analysis, Application Development), ensuring teachinglearning efficiency and defined learning outcomes.
• Design and deliver experiential learning through lab assignments, application development projects, case-based problem solving, and industry-integrated tasks.
• Mentor students on academic projects, internships, and technical career readiness.
• Promote project-based learning, interdisciplinary applications, and real-world case implementation.
• Integrate contemporary enterprise tools, database systems, and application frameworks into classroom delivery.
• Contribute to curriculum development, assessment planning, and continuous academic quality enhancement.
• Engage in academic research, publications, FDPs, seminars, and institutional initiatives.
• Support institutional KPIs aligned with student performance, academic quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

• M.Tech / MCA with minimum 55% marks.
• NET / Ph.D. desirable.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in affiliated colleges / higher education institutions.
