Key Responsibilities (Common Across Roles)

• Deliver effective classroom and laboratory teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programs
• Develop and update course content, lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials
• Mentor students for academic performance, projects, internships, and career development
• Participate in curriculum design, academic planning, evaluations, and examinations
• Contribute to accreditation, rankings, audits, and quality assurance initiatives
• Maintain academic records, compliance, and institutional documentation

Role-Specific Expectations

Assistant Professor

• Independently handle UG and/or PG courses
• Engage in research, publications, and academic development activities
• Guide student projects and support departmental initiatives
• Actively participate in academic committees and institutional responsibilities

Associate Professor

• Provide academic leadership within the department
• Guide postgraduate students and research scholars
• Publish research in reputed journals and participate in conferences
• Support accreditation processes, curriculum enhancement, and mentoring of junior faculty

Professor

• Lead academic, research, and strategic initiatives of the department
• Mentor faculty members and research scholars
• Drive research funding, publications, collaborations, and innovation
• Play a key role in academic governance, policy formulation, and institutional growth

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualifications: As per PCI / UGC norms
• Experience: Relevant teaching and/or research experience as prescribed for the applied designation
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong subject expertise
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Student-centric teaching approach
• Research orientation and academic leadership (for senior roles)
