Job Overview

SODSAI is seeking a qualified Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence with strong academic fundamentals and hands-on experience in modern AI technologies. The role requires expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and system deployment, with the ability to design and implement end-to-end AI solutions and contribute effectively to teaching, research, and applied projects.

Skills & Technical Expertise Core Foundations

Strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Statistical Techniques, and Programming concepts. Advanced proficiency in Python, including: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Data Structures and Algorithms Advanced and optimized coding practices Machine Learning & Deep Learning Expertise in: Machine Learning (Supervised, Unsupervised, Advanced ML techniques) Deep Learning (CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, Transformers) Reinforcement Learning Natural Language Processing & Computer Vision Strong knowledge of NLP, including: Classical NLP techniques LLM-based NLP systems Experience in Computer Vision, including: OpenCV Computer Vision models and pipelines Generative AI & Advanced AI Hands-on experience with: Large Language Models (LLMs) Diffusion models Embeddings and vector representations Knowledge of: Prompt engineering LLM fine-tuning Vector databases Agentic AI frameworks Data, Cloud & Deployment Strong experience with: SQL and NoSQL databases Big Data tools and unstructured data handling Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML models on AWS, GCP, or Azure. MLOps & AI Systems Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices, including: MLflow Docker Git CI/CD pipelines Ability to design end-to-end AI system architectures and deploy scalable AI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on capstone projects in: Generative AI Agentic AI Responsible AI Explainable AI Industry or internship experience in developing production-level AI expert systems. Certifications in AI/ML or Cloud technologies. Research publications or a strong GitHub portfolio showcasing AI/ML projects.
