Position description: 

The purpose of this role is to ensure proper packaging of news packages for various shows broadcast on the TV channel.

Primary Responsibilities: 

·       Work closely with the editorial and technical staff and perform all production and co-ordination duties under deadline.

·       Ensuring all elements to air the show - graphics, visuals. voice-overs, sound bites etc. required for the show.

·       Produce informative, compelling newscasts with true viewer benefit. 

·       Produce segments, refine segments, and assist in editing, recording and directing. 

·       Innovate ways of connecting and engaging with the audience.

·       Assist in the preparation of program agenda and content management.

·       Contribute to the team as per the requirements arising on a regular basis. 

·       Collaborate with different stakeholders for uninterrupted news programming. 

Required Knowledge & Skills: 

·       Keen interest in International  news and understanding of political environment/current affairs 

·       Excellent communication

·       Ability to manage contingencies 

·       Should be willing to work in shifts and in a 24x7 environment

·       Possess great interpersonal skills 

·       Highly adaptive and committed 

·       Multi-tasking and quick decision making
