• Coordinating the Network Modernization Project between RHG Area IT and individual hotel teams, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and execution across all stakeholders.
• Managing and maintaining the network project tracker, providing accurate weekly progress updates to the leadership and project teams.
• Identifying, tracking, and managing project risks and issues, escalating them promptly when required, and ensuring timely resolution to keep the project on schedule.
• Providing endtoend support to hotel teams throughout the modernization process, including guiding them in completing required web forms, sharing critical details such as IP addressing schemas, tracking FortiGate firewall deliveries, understanding hotel-specific network requirements, and coordinating network migration dates.
• Supporting both onsite implementation teams and remote firewall teams to ensure all technical tasks are executed efficiently and within planned timelines.
• Ensuring hotel teams experience minimal disruption during implementation by offering clear communication, proactive follow-ups, and continuous support.
• Assisting the Area IT team with all additional tasks required to facilitate a smooth and successful modernization transition across the region.
• Supporting additional on-site or remote activitiessuch as improving processes, updating documentation, and contributing to training initiativesto enhance the rollout and implementation of EMMA.
• Oversee the day-to-day IT operations, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and providing support to hotel staff.
• Collaborate with the IT Manager to implement and maintain IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunication.
• Monitor system performance, security, and backups to proactively address potential risks and ensure data integrity.
• Provide training and guidance to hotel employees on IT procedures, software applications, and security best practices.
• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including computers, printers and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and internet-related issues to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Manage IT inventory, including software licenses, hardware assets, and consumables, ensuring accurate records.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related contracts and support.
