Job Description
*Assistant Voyage Manager Mumbai (Urgent Hiring)*
*Experience Required:*
- *Sailing Experience:* 2nd Officer (Dry cargo) with *23 years* in vessel commercial ops *OR*
3rd Officer (Dry cargo) with *57 years* shorebased experience in ops/management.
- *Shore Experience:* Mandatory in commercial operations/voyage management.
Task and Responsibilities
Assist the Chartering Department in collating the information required by customers during the pre-fixture
negotiations.
To liaise and coordinate with Master / Brokers / Charterers, Agents, Internal departments on efficient & to
facilitate smooth execution of the voyage on a 24/7 basis.
Monitor voyage progress (Delivery/Redelivery notices, SOF, Off Hires, Claims)
Checking Bill of Lading and preparing LOI
Liaising with accounting and prepare summary of outstanding, receivables.
*Qualification:* Bachelors degree or equivalent.
*Location:* Mumbai (HQ) Open to travel/shore duties.
