Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our finance team in a controllership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting, with hands-on experience in month-end close, general ledger management, and internal controls. This position will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial records, compliance with regulations, and support for business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Perform and manage month-end and year-end closing processes Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Maintain and ensure accuracy of the general ledger Support budgeting and forecasting activities Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS/IFRS/GAAP) Assist in audits (internal, statutory, and tax) and liaise with external auditors Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and accounting policies Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely and accurate financial reporting Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA/CMA is a plus) 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in controllership, accounting, or financial reporting Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
