Assistant Manager

Our client, a leading global consulting firm , is looking to hire a junior to mid-level Litigation and Disputes lawyer to join its highly regarded legal team in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee litigation and dispute matters across courts, tribunals, and regulatory forums.
• Liaise with external counsel on case strategy, pleadings, filings, and hearings, ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collate facts, documents, and inputs for disputes.
• Track litigation matters, assess legal risk, and provide periodic updates to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with court orders, regulatory directions, and internal legal processes.
• Support drafting and review of dispute-related documentation, governance and employment-related policies.
• Conduct legal research on dispute, employment, and regulatory issues as required.

Key Requirements:

• 46 years PQE with an LL.B. degree.
• Strong experience in litigation and dispute management , preferably from a law firm background.
• Exposure to employment-related disputes and regulatory matters will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders and manage matters independently.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
