SalezShark is actively hiring a motivated and result-oriented Assistant Manager - US Accounting & Finance to join our esteemed Finance team. Please refer to the job description below for more details -


Job Description:

  • Maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger & taking care of the complete Bookkeeping for US Federal employees.
  • To perform day-to-day accounting, including Bank, AP, AR, and Journal Entries.
  • Review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to payment terms.
  • Invoicing clients and customers - Ensuring billing on time.
  • Assisting in employee onboarding and de-boarding on Quickbooks and Benefits.
  • Coordinating in timesheets & processing of US payroll, and employee expenses.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable balances, and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
  • Coordinate annually with tax preparer/accountant for the preparation of tax returns
  • Participate and perform ad-hoc projects, and prepare Financial Reports as and when assigned.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of different federal contract types and contract vehicles, providing guidance and support in their application.


Required Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in US accounting, US GAAP & US Taxes, preferably.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse workforce. (written and verbal)
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Accounting software such as Quickbooks, ADP, Paylocity, Paychex etc.
  • Ability to work independently during the specified shift hours, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.


Work Location: Hybrid - Delhi/NCR


Shift Timing: Comfortable with US overlap shift (2 PM to 1 AM IST)

2 PM to 11 PM during work from office & 4 PM to 1 AM IST during work from home.
