We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Supply Chain to strengthen our backend operations and ensure smooth supply flow across procurement, warehousing, and dispatch.

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager Supply Chain will be responsible for end-to-end coordination of procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, and dispatch planning to ensure zero stock-outs and optimized cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1 Procurement & Vendor Management

Coordinate with vendors for raw material and packaging procurement

Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms

Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply disruptions

2 Inventory & Warehouse Management

Maintain optimal inventory levels (Raw Material + Finished Goods)

Monitor FIFO / FEFO compliance (especially for food products)

Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation

Reduce dead stock and wastage

3 Production & Planning Coordination

Align supply planning with production schedules

Ensure raw material availability as per forecast

Track daily consumption and reorder levels

4 Logistics & Dispatch

Plan dispatch schedules for distributors and marketplaces

Coordinate with transport partners

Monitor delivery timelines and reduce transit losses

5 Reporting & Analysis

Maintain daily MIS for stock, inward, outward, and shortages

Analyze inventory turnover ratio

Identify cost-saving opportunities in procurement and logistics

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain / Operations / Commerce / Management

36 years of experience in supply chain or warehouse operations

Experience in FMCG / Food Industry preferred

Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills

Good negotiation and coordination skills
