Assistant Manager - Soft Services

Overview: The Assistant Manager of Soft Services is responsible for supporting the management and coordination of various soft services within a facility or organization. This role assists in overseeing services such as cleaning, security, reception, mail handling, and other non-technical support functions to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Soft Services Manager in daily operations and service delivery Assist in supervising and coordinating soft services staff and contractors Help maintain quality standards for all soft services Contribute to the development and implementation of service procedures and policies Assist in managing budgets and controlling costs for soft services Support the resolution of client issues and complaints Help conduct regular inspections and audits of soft services Assist in preparing reports on service performance and key metrics Support health and safety compliance within the soft services team Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for service delivery

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field 2-3 years of experience in soft services or facility management Strong understanding of soft services operations and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and facility management software Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
