We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented professional to strengthen our Sales and Business Development team at our Ahmedabad office.


POSITION SUMMARY

The role of Assistant Manager Sales & Business Development is a mid-level managerial position responsible for expanding sales of recycled polymer materials, managing key customer relationships, and driving business growth.

This position is strictly for candidates with prior and relevant experience in the polymer or recycled polymer industry.

Freshers are not eligible for this role.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies for recycled polymer products.
  2. Identify and onboard new customers in domestic and international markets.
  3. Manage existing client accounts and strengthen long-term relationships.
  4. Handle inquiries related to rPET, rHDPE, rPP, rLDPE, rLLDPE, and other recycled materials.
  5. Prepare business proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
  6. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contractual conditions with clients.
  7. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the management.
  8. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams for smooth order execution.
  9. Track market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments.
  10. Ensure timely payment collections and manage credit control effectively.
  11. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM.
  12. Generate sales reports and present performance analysis to management.
  13. Travel for client meetings and business development when required.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  1. Strong knowledge of recycled polymers and plastic raw materials.
  2. Clear understanding of polymer grades, applications, and market dynamics.
  3. Proven experience in B2B sales and business development.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to independently manage key accounts and large customers.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software tools.
  7. Strong commercial understanding and analytical ability.
  8. Target-driven approach with problem-solving mindset.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA MANDATORY

  1. Experience: Minimum 3 years and maximum 5 years only.
  2. Industry Background: Polymer or recycled polymer industry experience is compulsory.
  3. Education: Graduate (MBA or technical background will be an added advantage).
  4. Prior experience in polymer trading, raw material sales, or related segments is essential.
  5. Candidates must be based in Ahmedabad or ready to relocate.
