Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Shared Services team specializing in OTC (Order to Cash) processes with a specific focus on Payroll. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll processing for our organization, ensuring timely and accurate payroll administration, compliance, and effective management of employee accounts within the OTC domain.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process payroll-related transactions within the OTC cycle in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing, including employee compensation, deductions, taxes, and benefit administration.
  • Lead, guide, and mentor a team of payroll professionals to ensure smooth payroll operations and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, finance, and customer service to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, and ensure prompt and effective solutions.
  • Monitor and review team performance to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to payroll processing.
  • Assist in the development of training programs to enhance payroll knowledge and team efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal payroll policies and external regulations (e.g., tax laws, labor laws) during payroll processing.
  • Prepare and maintain payroll documentation, reports, and records for audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to payroll and taxes.
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support payroll audits and ensure compliance with all organizational standards and external audits.
  • Work within a shared service environment, ensuring team targets and service objectives related to payroll are met.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-G years of experience OTC payroll processes, with a specific focus on payroll administration and payroll-related billing.
  • Solid understanding of payroll processing, taxation, employee compensation, and related OTC functions.
  • Experience in managing or leading a payroll team within a shared services environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop payroll team members.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and payroll management platforms.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills in payroll-related tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, etc.) to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle employee inquiries effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple payroll-related tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Should be comfortable working IST 4 AM to 1 PM shift.
