Job Description: Assistant Manager – Relationship Management (Pune)


Location: Baner‑Sus / Kharadi
Reports to: Manager – Relationship Management
Experience: 1–3 years

With our customer community growing rapidly, we need an energetic Assistant Manager to support relationship-building efforts with PAC and PPC customers, assist in driving engagement through Parivaar events, and help with onboarding clients onto our VJOP App. This role will bolster our loyalty initiatives, aid lead generation, and lay the groundwork for sustained business expansion.


What Success Looks Like in 1 Year

  • A solid pipeline of relationship‑driven leads created in partnership with the Manager.

  • High levels of customer attendance and satisfaction at Parivaar events.

  • A marked uptick in new user adoption metrics on the VJOP App.

  • Strong support processes cemented for Manager‑led relationship activities.

  • Positive customer feedback and internal recognition for proactivity and teamwork.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in nurturing long‑term, trust‑based relationships with PAC and PPC customers.

  • Coordinate invitations and follow‑ups to ensure strong customer participation in Parivaar events.

  • Support regular customer meetings: gather requirements, share insights, and escalate solutions.

  • Drive the onboarding process for new customers on the VJOP App; monitor usage and troubleshoot issues.

  • Help identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities based on customer conversations and data.

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Events teams to execute engagement initiatives.

  • Track relationship‑based leads; maintain accurate reports and dashboards.

  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, feedback, and next‑step action plans.


Must‑Have Experience (Non‑Negotiable)

  • 1–3 years in client relationship management, customer success, or client onboarding.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build rapport quickly.

  • Experience coordinating or assisting with customer‑focused events or webinars.

  • Familiarity with digital platform onboarding processes (apps, portals, etc.).

  • Demonstrated ability to generate or support lead‑generation activities.


Nice‑to‑Haves (Can Be Learned on the Job)

  • Prior exposure to the VJOP App or similar customer engagement tools.

  • Understanding of PAC/PPC customer segments and their expectations.

  • Basic event‑management or CRM‑system experience.

  • Any exposure to upselling techniques within a relationship framework.
