Job Description: Assistant Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Experience: 5 to 12 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - FP&A with strong hands-on expertise in Power BI and desk-based analytical queries . The role will support financial planning, performance tracking, and management reporting through advanced data analysis and visualization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Prepare monthly MIS, variance analysis , and performance dashboards
• Develop and manage Power BI dashboards and reports for management decision-making
• Handle desk-based analytical queries , ad-hoc financial analysis, and business insights
• Analyze revenue, cost, margin, and profitability trends
• Support senior management with financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Work closely with business and finance stakeholders to ensure data accuracy
• Improve reporting efficiency through automation and process optimization

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

• 5-12 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance
• Mandatory hands-on experience in Power BI (dashboard creation, data modeling, DAX preferred)
• Strong experience in handling desk queries / ad-hoc financial analysis
• Excellent command over Excel (advanced level)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)
• Experience in large corporates or fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / etc.) is an added advantage
