Assistant Manager - Monitoring and Evaluation

About the role

We are looking for a Assistant Manager for Monitoring and Evaluation. Your role is central to creating an evidence-based culture and embedding evaluation into service development and delivery across our service. Provide operational support to improve the quality of projects and ensure lessons from evaluations are incorporated in the projects.You should be a responsible leader with an analytical and strategic mind and have a broad knowledge of the business. Responsibilities

• Evaluate the performance of all core programs through tools defined in the Monitoring and Evaluation Framework.
• Produce periodic reports of the evaluation for internal use and for funder reports.
• Ensure timely implementation of monitoring projects with a strong focus on execution and quality assurance - including data validity checks, analysis/interpretation, and editorial support.
• Empowering and supporting the team to drive high-quality implementation of M&E priorities.

Candidate requirements

• At least 6-7 years of experience in conducting impact evaluations or program evaluations, preferably in the education sector.
• Experience working with government agencies, NGOs, or international development organizations.
• Proficiency in quantitative research methods and statistical analysis techniques.
• Experience with data collection techniques such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups, and proficiency in data management and analysis
• Ability to manage complex evaluation projects from inception to completion, including developing evaluation frameworks, designing data collection instruments, overseeing fieldwork, and synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
