Assistant Manager - Manufacturing Engineering

Manufacturing Engineer : On the New & Current product assembly line - Process readiness for assembly line: Conduct Virtual assessments, Throughput simulation & develop Process documents like SOP, DFM, PFMEAs Control plans etc.

Responsibilities:

1. Hands-on on developing Process documents, SOP, FMEA's control plan etc.
2. Hands on leading ME process audits
3. Should be able to conduct Virtual assessments and DFM studies with product engineering. work for closure of identified issues
4. Participate, Identify and report assembly issues during proto builds
5. Participate and provide Mfg. inputs during DFMEA's
6. Track and report Assy. issues during new product launch builds
7. Develop Material presentation strategy
8. Participate in launch readiness review and other functional review meetings & share feedback
9. Hands on issues resolution process & Work as an active member of issues resolution team
10. Develop Manufacturing requirements for assembly processes as design inputs to product engineering
11. End of line tools and facility - Working on New & Current product Assembly shop- Develop & Implement End of Line test tools & processes, Develop / Define Assembly Electrical processes to drive first time quality
12. Hands-on in de-bugging electrical issues using diagnostic tools
13. Work with Product Engg. and Mfg. teams developing electrical process controls
14. Should be able to coach and train operations teams on end of line test processes & Diagnostics
15. Perform Process audits
16. Develop and maintain Process control plans
17. Develop Manufacturing requirements for end of line processes as design inputs to product
18. Hands-on issues resolution processes & Work as an active member of issues resolution team
