Job Description

The role will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of high-impact learning programs that are rooted in Glenmark's context. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, agile program management, and strong stakeholder collaboration to deliver diverse learning experiences, including instructor-led programs, comprehensive learning journeys and self-guided learning modules.


The Manager - Learning & Development will be instrumental in driving a culture of continuous learning across Glenmark. This involves following processes and initiatives


  1. Learning Design & Delivery:
  • Design, develop and implement high-impact training workshops focused on essential soft skills, behavioural competencies, potentially facilitating select key sessions.
  • Manage the LDNI process, driving development needs analysis and collaborating with business partners to deliver impactful learning solutions.
  • Conceptualize, design and lead the implementation of bespoke development journeys for high-potential talent pools or specific employee groups by collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and senior leadership.
  • Apply established instructional design principles to create engaging, effective, and relevant learning content across various modalities (e.g., e-learning, virtual classrooms, blended learning).

2. Program & Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage end-to-end program coordination with external learning partners for course content design, commercial agreements, and seamless program execution.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and appropriate identification and nomination of participants for various training programs.
  • Manage complex L&D projects with multiple workstreams, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.


3. Learning Technology & Data Management:

  • Manage and maintain data on Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring all training data is accurately recorded and maintained, leveraging its capabilities for tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy and integrity of all learning data for the organisation.
  • Design and implement robust mechanisms to measure the Return on Investment (ROI) and impact of all learning interventions, presenting key insights and recommendations to senior management.
