Job Description

Job Purpose


The Assistant Manager / Analyst Alumni Engagement & Learning Solutions will support the execution of alumni engagement initiatives while driving data-driven insights through reporting, dashboards, and analytics. The role will focus on managing operational aspects of alumni engagement, analysing engagement data, and supporting internal stakeholders with high-quality dashboards, presentations, and actionable insights.

The position requires strong analytical capability, advanced proficiency in data tools, and the ability to translate data into meaningful recommendations to enhance alumni engagement and learning experiences.


Job Outline

Alumni Engagement Support

  • Support planning and execution of alumni engagement initiatives such as:
  • Masterclasses, webinars, workshops, and networking events (virtual and in-person)
  • Coordinate logistics, vendor management, timelines, and event execution support
  • Assist in maintaining alumni communication channels and engagement platforms
  • Support collection and consolidation of alumni feedback and engagement data

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using:
  • Advanced Excel
  • Power BI
  • Salesforce and other CRM platforms
  • Track and analyse alumni engagement metrics including:
  • Participation trends
  • Feedback insights
  • Programme impact metrics
  • Convert raw data into structured insights and presentations for leadership
  • Support automation and optimisation of reporting processes


Stakeholder & Faculty Coordination

  • Support coordination of alumni-facing faculty sessions and engagement initiatives
  • Work closely with internal teams including Programme Management, Marketing, Customer Service, Learning Architecture and Sales to ensure smooth execution
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and data summaries for stakeholder reviews

Process Improvement & Innovation Support

  • Identify trends and patterns in alumni data to recommend improvements
  • Support testing and implementation of new engagement formats and initiatives
  • Contribute to improving data quality, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency.


Job Specification

Knowledge / Education

Bachelors degree in any discipline (IT, Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related fields preferred)

Specific Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory)
  • Strong working knowledge of Power BI or similar visualization tools
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM platforms preferred
  • Strong data interpretation and analytical skills
  • Ability to build high-quality dashboards and presentations
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines


Desirable Experience

  • 13 years of experience in analytics, reporting, operations, programme support, or similar roles
  • Experience in education, L&D, alumni engagement, or CRM-based roles preferred
