Role Description

Manager - Design

Multiple

Responsible for preparing all design related drawings as required for execution of fresh and running projects

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing civil engineering aspects of infrastructure and industrial projects. This includes site preparation, structural analysis, geotechnical assessments, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project completion on time, within budget, and as per quality standards.

Design & Planning

· Develop detailed designs and layouts for infrastructure and industrial facilities, including site grading, foundations, retaining structures, and drainage systems.

·Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety, durability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, ACI, Eurocodes).

Documentation & Drawings

· Prepare and review technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro).

· Generate construction documents, including BOQs, technical specifications, and material lists.

Coordination & Collaboration

· Work with architects, electrical and mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to integrate civil design with overall project requirements.

· Liaise with procurement teams to ensure material compatibility and availability.

Site & Field Support & Project Management

· Provide technical support during construction, addressing on-site challenges, and ensuring designs are implemented accurately.

· Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress and compliance with design specifications.

· Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and risk analysis.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks.

Compliance & Standards

· Ensure all designs adhere to local and international engineering codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

· Coordinate with regulatory bodies for approvals and permits.

5+ years of experience in civil design for infrastructure or industrial projects, preferably in the EPC domain.

Qualifications

-       Graduate in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree

Technical Skills

Proficiency in design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, Tekla, SAP2000).

Experience levels required to execute this role

E.g. 5+ yrs of experience as a senior Engineer  in  infrastructure company

Specific Experience

· Strong understanding of geotechnical and structural engineering principles.
