Assistant Manager- Intellectual Property Rights

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

PATENT MANAGEMENT

Conducts Patent and non-patent literature searches for the specified markets using different databases

Collates patent information in the form of landscape reports or freedom-to-operate reports

Conducts a preliminary evaluation of the patent and non-patent literature and formulation strategy for patentability

Periodically monitors patents, updates report, and apprises team lead for required action

Conduct searches for patent documents and non-patent literature and collates them for ascertaining patentability of invention(s)

Searches relevant case laws and apprises team leads

OPERATIONAL

Coordinates with the Research & Development function for periodic evaluation of projects under consideration

Periodically monitors patents, updates report, updates case law, and apprises Team Lead for required action

Keeps updated with the current IPR laws and Regulations of various countries
