About the Role
We are looking for a well-networked and culturally fluent Assistant Manager Influencer, Artiste & Media Relations to drive hoichois national visibility and communications.
Based in Kolkata, this role will work closely with national media houses and industry stakeholders primarily located in Mumbai and Delhi, across entertainment, trade, and business ecosystems, along with the influencer base of Kolkata and Bengal; and lastly, work closely with actors and directors for film and series promotions.
Key Responsibilities
National Media Relations (Entertainment, Trade & Business)
Build and maintain strong relationships with Mumbai and Delhibased national media across:
- Entertainment & Showbiz
- Trade publications
- Business and marketing media
Lead media outreach for:
- Show and film launches
- Platform announcements, partnerships, and corporate milestones
- Leadership profile interviews
- Ensure hoichois positioning aligns with how leading national OTT platforms engage with media.
- Manage press releases, interviews, press notes, and media briefings.
- Identify opportunities for industry stories, trade features, and thought leadership.
Influencer Strategy & Execution
Identify, onboard, and manage relevant influencers and creators for:
- Original series and film launches
- Brand and platform-led campaigns
- Negotiate commercials, scopes, and deliverables while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Ensure influencer collaborations are content-led, audience-relevant, and culturally aligned.
- Track campaign performance and provide qualitative and quantitative reporting.
Artiste & Industry Management
Act as a liaison between hoichoi and:
- Actors
- Directors
- Writers, creators, and other industry professionals
Coordinate and manage promotional requirements including:
- Media interviews
- Influencer integrations
- Digital promotions and appearances
- Handle artistes with professionalism, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Facilitate seamless communication between talent teams, media, and internal stakeholders.
What Were Looking For
- 3-4 years of experience in media relations, influencer marketing, and or, entertainment PR.
- Strong working relationships with national media based in Mumbai and Delhi, despite being Kolkata-based.
- Proven experience in influencer identification, negotiation, and execution.
- Prior experience working directly with actors, directors, or creative talent is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-visibility launch environments.
