Infrastructure & Real Estate (ICC) - AM (3-7 years) The ICC is a global delivery center, catering to 30+ offices across the Deloitte network. With 600+ qualified professionals, ICC offers customized solutions to support global practitioners across Strategy Risk & Transaction (SRT). Given the unique advantage of working with several global offices, ICC operates as a Center of Excellence by providing learning and scale across the engagement sectors and project teams.ResponsibilitiesAs part of the I&RE advisory team, there would be a wide range of public and private sector assignments you might work on with the UK, Canada, Japan, Middle East, Australia and other global teams, such as:Support the development of key documents for a transaction e.g. Project Management process reviews/development, cost estimate reviews, procurement option assessment, project schedule management, business case draftingSupport in project control activities such as quarterly status reports, cost financial analysis, change management and schedule management, cost estimateDeveloping the business case and strategy for capital investment programmeUndertake detailed financial and commercial analysis to solve complex problemsPrepare reports and presentations to support onshore client conversationsWorking with global I&CP teams on their data requirement & management information strategies; advising the public sector on a significant policy change and supporting them through its implementationTaking ownership for quality and risk management, ensuring that all client work is delivered consistently complying with Deloitte quality and risk rules and guidelines;Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution,Expectation would be to add value on complex and high-profile projects under tight timelinesSupport the management leads with practice and internal/external business development activitiesEducation backgroundMBA degree (Finance) or equivalent qualification/ CA; ME (Civil Engineering) or equivalentBE (Civil Engineering)/ BCom/BBA or equivalentExcellent track record and strong academic achievementsSkills RequiredYou need to be an analytical problem solver with developed sector knowledge and exposure.Experience in infrastructure (renewable energy, construction, road, rail, port, aviation, metro/transit) and public sector or government sector is required, along with project management experience.Professional qualification is a plus. PM/PMO and stakeholder engagement experience will be of particular relevance.You will work on diverse assignments, providing strategic advisory on government and infrastructure projects, conducting financial analysis, preparing reports and presentations, and engaging with geography team to solve complex problems and support client conversations.Interest in working in a challenging and dynamic environment. Proactive and an inquisitive mind, with a passion to provide world class client service.Key required experience -Experience in a commercial, procurement and/or commercial focussed role within government, a private sector bidder or another advisory firm working on one or more of: PPP, project finance, outsourcing, franchising or similar service contracts;Experience in secondary research, industry research (identifying themes/trends), company and financial analysis for infrastructure, renewable energy and public sector;Previous project management experience on complex/large projects, ideally from leading corporate institution, consulting firms or Big 4 firms;An understanding of the financial and commercial aspects of government infrastructure, technology and/or service contracts;Experience of working with financial models;Strong commercial acumen and project management capability;Capability to analyze business models and development of target operating models;Working knowledge of data sources such as IJGlobal, Inframation, Refinitiv, Mergermarket, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Thomson etc. would be an asset;Proficiency with MS office suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDesirableExperience of designing and building complex financial analysis;Experience in working of providing commercial support to Technology programmesExperience of business case and/or report writing; andExperience of working with contractual documentation for government infrastructure and/or service contracts.
