About the Role

This is a key role in the team that ensures delivering safe and compliant sites for the business focusing on Fire and Life Safety aspects as per the regulations and FK standards. This critical team role is dedicated to enhancing the safety culture and operational Health & safety compliance throughout the business. Key responsibilities include managing specialized areas such as Powered Industrial Truck safety, Dock safety, warehouse safety management, and driving continuous improvement via the My Safety Index.

About the team

Health & Safety Team > EHS Infrastructure compliance: We are the central team that drives and ensures the EHS compliance for all Flipkart facilities. The Central H&S compliance team proactively ensures a safe workplace by developing effective standards, conducting routine risk assessments, and driving safety awareness via organized campaigns.

You are Responsible for

He will be part of the H&S team assisting in new site selection, which involves site screening, document verification, coordination to execute Right Start Assessment and ensuring closure of NC observations by closely working with stakeholders by evidence verification.

He will also handle the role of Rack safety compliance program / new projects like Solar / EV charging stations / Machine Safety monitoring program / Lithium ion Battery compliance etc across FK business verticals. You will be an integral part of the H&S team, assisting with operational safety. His primary focus areas will include PIT Safety, Dock Safety, Fire & Electrical Safety, and Machine Safety. He will also be responsible for driving the My Safety Index, ensuring timely accident investigations, and organizing periodical safety campaigns
