Assistant Manager

As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. You will work closely with our demand planning and procurement teams to develop and execute supply plans that minimize out-of-stock and over-stock issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels at our distribution centers.

Demand Forecasting: Analyze data to predict future inventory needs based on market trends.

Vendor Coordination: Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Collaboration: Work closely with operations, production, and other supply chain team members.

Reporting: Create and present inventory reports to management.

Optimization: Recommend changes to improve inventory handling and storage.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or logistics.

Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in data modeling and materials planning.
